Since 2016 I’m responsible for the website called “JazzEveryone.” My father-in-law started creating this site around 2009 after having a long career as a jazz musician and educator. He passed away on February 16th, 2019.
While visiting Germany last November (2019), my friend Wolfgang and I had a great pleasure (and fun) of creating a short video about Willie’s method. This one especially for those living in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. However, there are English subtitles, and we are also jamming a little, so it should be fun for all. Enjoy!
This October (2018) saw the world premiere of a classic version of “Major Tom”
“The German Chamber Philharmonic Bremen” arrangement by Oliver Groenewald. The world premiere took place in the ÖVB Arena on the occasion of the IAC (International Astronautical Congress) in Bremen.
